Parsec Credits PRSC Pricing Update

Volatility in the cryptocurrency market is normal and to be expected, but in light of the rapid increase of Ether we have decided to update the Parsec Frontiers project pricing.

When the project was announced on Dec 4th, 2017, the price of Ether was trading around 400–450 USD, and the market cap from a fully subscribed maximum cap would have been approximately 18–20 million USD with about 65% of that in ETH raised (due to bonuses and pre-sale adjustment).

As Ether is currently trading at around $1350, the value of the maximum cap for the sale alone has increased to approximately 40 million USD, which is far more money than this project needs in our opinion.

We are therefore reducing the PRSC/ETH price by half. This means that prices change to:

Pre-Sale: 1 ETH = 1,690,000 PRSC tokens
Crowd Sale: 1 ETH = 1,300,000 PRSC tokens

We prefer instead to see increased demand for PRSC tokens after the Crowd Sale has ended.

Do note that unsold tokens in the Crowd Sale process will be burned. This means that the main effect of this changing price is that you will receive more PRSC for your contribution, limiting the total amount of ETH that the project can raise at maximum cap.
