First, we’d like to thank everyone who has joined our Pre-Sale whitelist, expressing confidence in our project so far. We are completely overwhelmed — in a good way — and are trying to handle all our communication with all interested parties to the best of our abilities.
Everyone has been asking for it, and we are now pleased to announce further details about our upcoming Pre-Sale.
Parsec Frontiers Summary
Parsec Frontiers aims to become the first virtual galaxy MMO blockchain, providing complete transparency of a complex, player-controlled virtual economy in a futuristic version of the Milky Way galaxy. By using blockchain for all in-game assets, Parsec Frontiers makes it easier for players to identify trading opportunities within the game. By using a token as an in-game currency, Parsec Frontiers also bridges real-money with the virtual economy. This in effect creates a new asset class: virtual items that can be traded for a profit or loss. Ultimately, Parsec Frontiers brings more transparency and real-money profit opportunities to massive multiplayer online gaming.

Parsec Credits Token Supply Details
The chart below depicts the token supply breakdown. The token supply is 30,856,775,800 PARSEC, with unsold tokens to be burned — reducing the market cap and increasing the scarcity of Parsec Credits.
The following is an explanation of the token supply breakdown. All absolute PARSEC numbers quoted are those considered if the initial maximum supply of 30,856,775,800 PARSEC remains without burn.
- 70% (21,599,743,060 PARSEC) will be sold in the Pre-Sale and Crowd Sale. Distributed and useable immediately after the Crowd Sale has ended. The maximum amount sold in the Pre-Sale is 10.95%, with any unsold tokens carrying over to the Crowd Sale. Unsold tokens after the Crowd Sale will be burned.
- 10% (3,085,677,580 PARSEC) will be distributed over 2 years to the project founders and developers.
- 10% (3,085,677,580 PARSEC) will be distributed to advisors and partners. Individual agreements apply, but many — including advisors — have vesting schedules.
- 5% (1,542,838,790 PARSEC) will be used for community bounties, bug bounties and other appropriate schemes to market the project. These tokens will be available immediately upon distribution.
- 4%(1,234,271,032 PARSEC) will be contributed to the Parsec Frontiers Foundation. These tokens will be locked for a year.
- 1%(308,567,758 PARSEC) will be released as an airdrop. Details of the airdrop will be made available at a later date. These tokens will be locked for one month after the Crowd Sale period ends.
Pre-Sale Period
The PARSEC Pre-Sale will open on January 24th, 2018 at 12:00 UTC and closes on January 31st, 2018 at 12:00 UTC. This will be a limited sale, open to applicants who are accepted by the team. Anyone can apply, but only a select number of applicants will be chosen to participate in this phase of the sale. The whitelist process shall ensure diverse token distribution, and help mitigate market risk imposed by single large token holders.
The Utility of Parsec Credits (PARSEC)
“The currency of the Parsec Frontiers virtual economy.”
The purpose of Parsec Credits is to be the in-game currency that keeps the wheels turning for all trade within the game world’s economy. It shall provide simple transfer of funds into and out of the game, and provide an easy way to estimate the market value of your in-game account and assets.
PARSEC is used when buying and selling items, resources and rights within the Parsec Frontiers economy. It is also planned to require a certain holding of Parsec Credits to be able to participate with a full node for validating transactions on the game asset blockchain.

In Q2 2018, the rollout of asset auctions will commence. You will be required to hold Parsec Credits to be able to participate in the earliest auctions of items.
