As you’ve come to know, PARSIQ is working tirelessly to continuously upgrade and improve our products.

Today, we’re proud to announce a major expansion of our NFT Data Lake!

Initially launched in 2022, our NFT Data lake initially provided support solely for Ethereum-based (ERC-721 and ERC-1155) NFTs. Since then, we’ve expanded this Data Lake to include NFT-related data from Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, and Avalanche! 🤯

This means that all the information about NFTs on some of the most popular blockchains have been indexed by PARSIQ and can be queried easily using our Tsunami API.

Let’s get straight to the point! How can Devs use our NFT Data Lake?

Our NFT Data Lake will be of immediate use for any kind of NFT platform or dApp you can imagine:

  • NFT marketplace
  • NFT renting platform
  • Portfolio tracker
  • NFT games
  • NFT event tickets
  • And more!

After all, all of these need the valuable NFT Data we’ve prepared in advance.

That data includes…

  • Which NFTs an address currently holds
  • Which NFT’s that address has held in the past
  • Which addresses have held a particular NFT
  • Address Inventory History
  • Token Ownership History
  • Token Metadata
  • Contract Metadata

To put it simply, with the NFT Data Lake, we’ve prepared all the data needed to build an NFT dApp!

This sounds like a great resource for developers! Tell me more…

How does the NFT Data Lake work?

With our Tsunami API, we provide all of the data on a given chain, no matter the context or content. This is a perfect resource when you need raw data or need to monitor multiple types of activity in real time on the blockchain.

In contrast, our Data Lakes are sourced from that raw data — but the data you get from Data Lakes is aggregated, dealing only with structured data. That is, Data Lakes refine the raw data, process it and transform it to meet the needs of specific use cases.

With the NFT Data Lake, this means we’ve collected all the data related to NFTs and stored it all in one place! Users of this data lake won’t need to sift through all the other types of data — they’ll be given all, and only, the NFT data they need.

This all sounds great! But you might finally be wondering…

Why Use the NFT Data Lake?

Of course, developers could access the same data without using the NFT Data Lake. However, doing so comes at a great cost!

Think about it: You’d have to go through a node, query the raw data, and then do the calculations on your own individually — say of NFT ownership, of NFT inventory, and so on, and so on. Then, you’d need to come up with an entire system and infrastructure of your own to support this process. Maintaining such infrastructure quickly becomes an entire project of its own. All of this quickly gets expensive, is difficult to keep reliable, and is usually slower than desired. 😰 Who really wants to deal with all of this!?

We specifically designed our NFT Data Lake to make things as easy as possible for developers to get on with the work they truly care about — building exciting and innovative platforms!

The NFT Data Lake allows you to skip all of the troublesome details described above.

PARSIQ’s got you covered! With our NFT Data Lake, you can avoid the extra developer costs, time costs, and hardware cost — not to mention the headache involved in the process of doing it yourself!

We do all the calculations for you! Just make a request, and the data is delivered instantly!

What could be easier than that? What could be easier than PARSIQ?
