We finally have regulators approval on burning the unsold tokens from our tokensale along with our portion of team and advisor tokens from rebalancing we did in January of this year. We’ve had positive confirmation that burning the tokens held in the retention wallet will not change the status of the PRQ token.
What does this mean?
For one, it means that the total circulating supply of the PRQ token can now only be 310,256,872 PRQ, or roughly 62% of what it was originally at 500 million.
Token statistics on sites like CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko will also finally reflect the true token history, which should make token distribution easier to understand for someone looking at the PRQ token for the first time.
It also means that we once again prove that we are true to our word and commitment to our community. As a young software company, we do experience delays, re-prioritizations, 3rd party changes that can change our course and plans, but our overall goals and promises stay the same, with the burning of the 189 million PRQ tokens held in the retention wallet, we reaffirm this core value of the company.
