PARSIQ Q&A #13
Every Friday PARSIQ team answers your most important questions. Join our Telegram chat to ask!
Once again, Bryan and the community comes through with some good questions, thank you everyone for participating 👏
1.What is the mid-term strategy for release and listings? Is the intent to start increasing exposure now products are becoming productionised? What can we expect to see in terms of offerings?
We are very focused on the IQ Protocol and getting that released within Q1, even with a lot of things that have to come together (several audits, massive game theory tests etc.) and getting our Ncase solution deployed in the wild, so we can start optimizing and build additional client requested services on top of that.
We just listed on OKEx yesterday and more will follow, but the process is not one that’s over in one phone call, there is a lot of due diligence done from the side of the exchanges. We won’t be announcing any exchanges ahead of time, once we get a listing time from the exchange, we will post it to our community.
You can always keep an eye on our roadmap to see some of what is coming: https://parsiq.net/en/roadmap
2.With the new listing yesterday and the hint of further, How long can we expect the PRQBoost reward programme to continue, as alternative and further Liquidity will be increased via listings?
Currently, we are planning to continue it for one year since launch and then we will decide. Healthy liquidity is good for Uniswap pairs.
3.How many paying customers are there today?Have the payment processor talks concluded?
We have about 50 corporate customers and many more paying retail users. The talks have not concluded yet, but they are going very well.
4.Will IQ protocol ( lending platform) be available in CoinMetro since first day?
We can’t guarantee this, but we are focused on implementing it directly into the CoinMetro platform.
5.Have you considered integrating with alteryx to allow normies to create workflows based on on chain actions? In the last AMA Anatoly stressed a focus on users, well opening up trigger actions to something like alteryx would open us up to users who can’t code.
We will be releasing a very serious new version of our own no-code editor this year which will likely suit the needs of most users. However, additional integrations with solutions such as Alteryx are surely on the table and we will be implementing them based on demand and feedback received for clients and users.
6.Have any additional larger scale customers signed up to use nCase? What impact (by %) do you see nCase having on revenue this year?
We have a lot of mid-size projects and companies waiting to onboard. We also have larger scale companies showing interest, but for them we need to finish a more thorough version of the product complete with UI dashboards and more. We expect Ncase to have a big impact on revenue this year because the service is very needed and it will work as a full-suite solution combined with the monitoring platform, thus making the monitoring services also more easily “sellable”.
7.We noticed you are entering the Chinese market (OKEX) with lots of QAs and now exchange listing, was this always the plan, or has something happened to make you go this route?
We’ve always planned to focus on different geographic markets, to drive more focused exposure. The first part of our “plan” was obviously to build and have a viable product that could scale with a large increase in clients. China is an important part of the crypto sphere, but also somewhat apart due to language and cultural barriers. Just like the barriers in different blockchains, we wish to break them and build bridges, so projects that benefit from utilizing our services get a chance to hear more about us.
8.Can the team provide details, if possible as to where will the Tokenomics platforms aspects be located. Will it be in a specific “purpose built” desktop / mobile app (Requiring its own password), attached to Uniswap via different wallets (With their own passwords), on a portal linked to their website and will there be different security gates to protect PRQ stakers from hackers? Thinking about other wallets updates/vulnerabilities affecting PRQ holders indirectly.
It will be a separate dedicated user interface hosted on the web. More details to come.
9.How will Parsiq look like by end of Q2 in a perfect scenario ( regarding clients, IQ protocol, services, marketing, exchanges)?
By the end of Q2 IQ Protocol will be in working in full swing (we anticipate a decent amount of other crypto projects to also use it based on preliminary demand we’ve seen), we will have on-boarded a substantial number of Ncase clients and we will have released the Public Projects marketplace. Also expect new updated versions of the ParsiQL language and special focus on developer engagement (more hackathons, events and technical workshops). We hope to close the deals with some of the big-name clients that we are still speaking with and we hope to expand to other geographies (cannot disclose yet).
