1. Does PARSIQ see themselves being involved with IoT (internet of Things) growth and leaders in that field — such as Helium?
Yes, like we have mentioned before, in PARSIQ’s roadmap is the concept of reverse triggers, where off-chain events are being caught by PARSIQ tracers and pushed onto the blockchain to automatically execute some transactions (effectively automating payments based on real-world events), which in turn can trigger off-chain events. This is related to IoT in many ways.
2.Can we expect some kind of service which will help with calculating taxes? It’s a big grey area but I feel Parsiq’s technology, extrapolating trade history of wallets etc would massively help. Especially with net profit/loss per trade etc.
This is one of the use cases that is on the table for us, it requires the addition of some extra functions for clients to gain maximum value from it. We have it in the backlog as one potential direction on which to focus in the future. Problem is, the array of use cases for PARSIQ’s technology is so wide, so we have to take everything step-by-step — to prioritize and not lose focus.
3. How did you come up with the idea to create Parsiq? What started it?
It was a collective effort by the founders, the initial idea has evolved a lot, but PARSIQ’s Chief Blockchain Architect invented the core concepts, like Smart-Triggers and ParsiQL for everyone to be able to consume and manipulate real-time blockchain data streams for actionable decisions.
4. In one of previous AMA long time ago Tom said “We are seeing the exponential growth of the market size for DLT solutions (projected to be over 162 billion annually by 2027). We are confident that we can take a healthy share of this market via our value proposition.” Can you elaborate on this? Do you think with such a small team you are able to handle dates, terms, conditions etc?
We are currently expanding our team including sales, business development, marketing, content creation and more. As the project grows the team will grow with it. It is not easy to find the right people, so team expansion is never fast, but we are working hard to onboard the most talented people in the industry.
5. Do you think year 2021 will be ground breaking for Parsiq? We see that you are signing great partnerships, working on some “secret” service that soon you will announce. But all this will be fully implemented in Q1–2021. Do you think then we will start to see the full potential of PRQ regarding price and token as a heart of your tech?
We cannot speculate on the price, but we do know that 2021 will be enormous for the PARSIQ ecosystem. We have a huge pipeline of partnerships and integrations with some of the biggest players in the space, we have implementation of new tokenomics including O2 Protocol and Public Projects. We are planning to target and close deals with non-crypto enterprises from the traditional space. Among other things not mentioned. 2021 will be big.
6. In your roadmap for 2021 we still have:
- 1 major layer
- Biggest DeFi project
- new awesome service
Will this all happen in December or we can count on something special still in November?
Most announcements are planned for December and onwards. End of October and November were quite eventful already. We actually have to build stuff as well, not just announce them. But we have more in the pipeline that we are keeping close to the vest, so keep an eye open.
7. In one of the previous AMA you said that Parsiq is making some service/feature for governments. Can you say how far in development this is? Can you give us a little sneak peek how this will work?
Cannot share more details at this stage of product development. First up is our product that’s related to wallets and payment processing. The product is quite ambitious as we will be competing with some big names in the space, but the solution we came up with that will work in conjunction with the PARSIQ platform will be a unique all-in-one offering. We have a number of piloting customers waiting to integrate it.
Also do you think in the future, Parsiq tech could help in monitoring United states elections or events like that if they are on the blockchain?
It is possible (depending on the technology used) because we do not monitor just asset transfers on the blockchain, PARSIQ can catch and transform any blockchain events no matter how small, hidden or fine-grained, meaning our technology can be applied to other blockchain-based use cases as well, not just finance.
8. When is the calculator for PRQBOOST expected?
Beginning of next week.
