PARSIQ’s mission of providing instant, reliable Web3 never stops!

Today, we are proud to announce that our blazing fast Tsunami API has now been integrated on Metis.

This development is particularly notable, as Metis is currently the most cost-efficient Ethereum Layer 2, offering gas fees over 200 times lower than those on mainnet. And, like PARSIQ, Metis is only continuing to grow, becoming more and more integral to the workings of Web3. For instance, Aave was just deployed in Metis, and they’ve already got plans with other exciting DeFi platforms on the way.

Like PARSIQ, Metis is continually working to lay a solid ground for an exciting and rewarding DeFi ecosystem. With PARSIQ and Metis brought together, it’s really a no-brainer: anyone trying to interact in DeFi, or getting to know DeFi, Metis is not just the cost-efficient option, but now all of its data is accessible with incredible speed and reliability.

With the full support of the team at Metis, PARSIQ is looking forward to advancing our shared vision of accelerating the adoption of Web3 technology and creating an accessible, decentralized economy.

We’re already planning a Twitter Spaces, as well as an AMA, between our teams. So be sure to stay tuned for the date and times, which we’ll be sharing shortly!

PARSIQ + Metis

Since its launch in 2021, Metis has consistently shown impressive growth. The speed and cost-efficiency of transactions on their network speak for themselves. That’s why Metis no doubt has a bright future.

Now, with PARSIQ supporting their chain, no longer will it take hours or days to access and collect data, and no longer will it take weeks to restructure that data. For developers, this process will now be virtually instantaneous! Never before has accessing all of the data on Metis been this fast, efficient, and reliable.

Commenting on the integration, Tom Ngo, Executive Lead of Metis said:

“We are delighted to add PARSIQ to our ecosystem as it is a full-suite data network for building the backend of all Web3 dApps and protocols. Projects like PARSIQ help Metis with its primary goal — facilitating business evolvement from web2 to web3. Now developers working on Metis will have an even easier experience accessing data they need.”

Likewise, Tom Tirman (PARSIQ CEO) stated:

“We at PARSIQ love working closely with teams that share our conviction that the future belongs to Web3. That’s why we’re so excited to be integrating Metis. With their dedication to improving the scalability of Ethereum, Metis has built a perfect platform for builders and innovators in the space. They’re the real deal. Together, we’re making it easier for developers to get the tools they need to get building.”

What’s PARSIQ bringing to Metis?

Let’s explore a brief overview of what developers can expect.

PARSIQ’s Tsunami API provides users with raw data from the entire Metis chain. It also provides the ability to apply filtration mechanisms, allowing for the querying of the whole of the blockchain history, for example, by sender, receiver, contracts it interacted with by topic, etc. Providing raw data — both real-time and historical — enables platforms to track any kind of events, metrics, or statistics they desire, such as TVL, liquidity, current and historical token prices, APR, APY, ROI, user balances, and more.

With the tools we’ve built into the Tsunami API, those working on Metis will have an easy time bringing the platform they envision to life. For a few recent examples of some uses we’ve featured, be sure to check out these links, on the uses of our endpoints, how our data serves DEXs, and the importance of fast, accurate, and reliable data!

PARSIQ’S Data Lakes are the perfect compliment to our Tsunami API. With our Tsunami API, we provide all of the data on a given chain, no matter the context or content. This is a perfect resource when you need raw data or need to monitor multiple types of activity in real time on the blockchain.

In contrast, Data Lakes are sourced from that raw data — but the data you get from Data Lakes is customized to fit your needs. You don’t get all the data, but only the aggregated data you need. In short, Data Lakes refine the raw data, process it and transform it to meet the needs of specific use cases. For example, you may need specific data related only to NFTs, or, say, AAVE. Supported by PARSIQ Data Lakes, all of the historical and real-time data related to these specific needs will be easily and instantly available!

We can’t wait to help you solve your data needs on Metis! Who’s ready to build the next Web3 unicorn? 🦄
