The pioneers in the field, like Uniswap, have laid substantial groundwork with Protocol V4. However, one pivotal feature has yet to be integrated into our digital landscape: the capability to react on-chain to events.
PARSIQ Evolution: Reactive Network and ReactEVM
While the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) has served as a powerful catalyst in the blockchain realm, it falls short when it comes to on-chain event reactions. PARSIQ’s next evolution aims to address this shortfall in what we believe is a growing need in the industry — and an untapped aspect of existing blockchain ecosystems.
Reactive Network aims to introduce the following concepts into the blockchain world — ReactEVM (rEVM), Reactive Smart Contracts (RSCs) and the Relayer Network.
The rEVM engine is our vision for the future of the Ethereum Virtual machine. Through rEVM, we aim to introduce Reactive Smart Contracts. Unlike traditional smart contracts, RSCs allow the submission of new on-chain transactions based on other network activities — specifically events.
The Relayer Network adds to the functionality and capabilities of RSCs — taking their abilities cross-chain. This allows for the monitoring, analysis, and reacting to an entire network of blockchain ecosystems through a single smart contract setup.
❗️ At the core of the evolved Reactive Network is the REACT token, which will be tasked with essential roles in serving as payment for gas, fueling payments for RSC post-block transactions, and incentivization of participants who support cross-chain event log consensus activities. PRQ will be immediately swappable 1:1 to REACT on Reactive Network mainnet upon launch of the network.

We imagine that the capabilities of rEVM will be able to support Web3 applications which require: smart liquidity management, upkeep of leveraged collateralized positions, automatic portfolio rebalancing, complex trading bots, and more…. As for future applications, we leave that in the capable hands of the next generation of developers to come.
We are working towards the next generation of how smart contracts and blockchains will interact with each other. Reactive Network will become an IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) hub for all EVM chains, improving and extending their functionality through cross-chain “data reactivity’ and automation.
