It’s safe to say that I love podcasting because it’s a great way to express yourself, regardless of your topic. But it also has some significant benefits for your career, specifically if you’re talking on a career-related subject.

Those who start podcasts as a content marketing vehicle for their business see a lot of benefits, but here are five of my favourite ones:

#1 It can connect you to people

One of the most immediate benefits to your career that hosting a business-focused podcast gives you is access to those people that you normally wouldn’t have access to.

This is especially the case if you host guests on your podcast, as it’s much easier to reach out to “chat” with someone if you’re interviewing them on your podcast. And it makes that connection stronger and more memorable when you do get a chance to connect.
