Ever wanted to learn about medical cannabis, but were afraid to ask?

The Cannabis Patient Rights Coalition, a Colorado Springs-based group founded this year, will hold a series of six sessions on a variety of topics, including the basics of marijuana, and the barriers people face when being labeled as a recreational consumer or medical marijuana patient.

“These classes are important in educating the community about cannabis consumption from a patient’s perspective.” said Cannabis Patient Rights Coalition Vice President Aisha Sawyer. “We want to address concerns about cannabis legislation and discuss the impacts on our communities.”

The events are free of charge, and open to the public.
