As it stands 97% of U.S. companies fail to have senior leadership teams that reflect the country’s ethnic labor force.

While A McKinsey Company study of 366 public companies analyzed, those in the top quartile for racial and ethnic diversity are 35% more likely to have financial returns above national industry medians. And companies the top quartile for gender diversity are 15% more likely to have financial returns above their national industry peers.

This shows us one thing: Diversity in the workplace, specifically in leadership positions not only pushes companies to a higher level of equality but is profitable.

Across the live event industry, we have seen a growing movement towards diversity in leadership positions and in keeping with that movement we’ve reached out to some of these leaders to shepherd a discussion on the subject.

We are honored to host the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces Player Programs & Franchise Development Manager Rushia Brown, Frontgate Ticket’s Maura Gibson, POP Montreal’s Director of Marketing & Communications’ Stephanie Laichi, 542 Entertainment’s President & CEO Billie Jo Aasen, and Muddy Girl Productions’ Founder Karen Rappaport McHugh at this year’s XLIVE event.

WISE Las Vegas President Brette Sadler will serve as the moderator for what should be an enlighting conversation on where the live entertainment industry is headed, the changes that are occurring, and the changes that should be occurring.

Please join us as we learn from industry leaders about their roles, their triumphs, their challenges, and what the next generation of diverse influencers can expect.
