In today’s society, getting access to investment opportunities can be challenging for anyone, but it’s especially daunting for female and diverse founders. Thousand Faces is working to address this hurdle with its community-driven investment platform that will use the privacy-protecting platform of Partisia Blockchain to enable far broader access for both investors and entrepreneurs alike. We’re excited today for the launch of Phase 1 of Thousand Faces’ accelerator program which includes 30 promising young projects.

At Partisia Blockchain, we are always thrilled to see the development of projects utilizing our network, but Thousand Faces’ goals of inclusion and accessibility are particularly close to our hearts. Thousand Faces is an excellent example of how the unique security and transparency of the Partisia Blockchain network can be used to solve a major societal challenge.

Thousand Faces’ Phase 1 promises to have a significant impact on the projects and teams included. With Phase 1 of the program, Thousand Faces has begun minting the NFTs that investors will purchase to fund the accelerator. You can check them out on Thousand Faces OpenSea. To take part in this amazing opportunity, you can sign up to the allowlist. All minting will occur at mint.thousandfaces.art. Here are a few of the many inspiring projects that are participating:

  • Smobler Studios is a design agency that helps activate brands in the real world and the metaverse. They bring expertise in experiential design in the real world and the Metaverse and have partnered with the Sandbox to help onboard brands into Web3. Their mission is to provide a space to bring together brands, communities, and non-profit organizations accessible to minority-group entrepreneurs, where they can find the tools to launch their businesses.
  • Jonda Health focuses on providing patients the privacy and data ownership of their health data. With the use of Web3 technology, and a smooth front end application, their goal is to empower patients to be at the center of their health data. The project is led by health and tech experts who have the vision to allow patients to control their health data to improve care coordination, reduce overall costs and improve health outcomes. They are currently at a pre-seed funding stage and are looking to create their Web3 infrastructure.
  • Majik Water Technologies is a project based on the idea of providing access to clean drinking water in arid and semi-arid regions with the use of technology in Africa. Their goal is to reduce the use of finite freshwater sources, as well as reduce the emissions from firewood and charcoal to boil water in communities with scarce water. They have developed over 20 large-scale devices and 10 small-scale devices that can produce over 300,000L of water monthly and are keen to develop the Web3 infrastructure for this technology.

On December 3, 2022, Thousand Faces participated in our first hackathon, #PartiHack, in Paris, where they won the second-place prize of $75,000, rewarding their hard work and dedication and fueling the development of their program.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for Thousand Faces!
