People have different hobbies to wind down from the stress of everyday life whether playing sports, going for a hike, dancing, but what better way to do this than by letting your imagination loose and dive into a good book. Today is Book Lovers Day, and we thought we’d celebrate PartnerHero style by asking our Heroes what were their favorite books in 2019 so far.

Supermarket by Bobby Hall (aka Logic) “I loved this book because it’s a psychological thriller much like Fight Club. It was a light read but at the same time very fun and easy to understand. I would recommend it for someone looking for something light and easy to read. Also, because Logic wrote it who is one of my favorite artists at the moment.” — Andrea M., Honduras

The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday “This amazing and straight-forward self-help book helps me feel and do better for myself and others!” — Maynard R., Philippines

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Ronson. “This book lets you see that we can stop trying to stay positive all the time so we can start being truly happy.” — Michell C., Honduras

How to Do Nothing by Jenny Odell. “Amazing reflections on how crazy capitalism has made us all and at what cost.” — Leticia S., Brazil

The Help by Kathryn Stockett “The best novel I’ve read this year. Hard to put down, and also heart wrenching that such things happened in the US just 60 years ago.” — Asae M., Berlin

It Doesn’t Have to be Crazy at Work by David Heinemeier Hansson and Jason Fried “It really identifies with the startup environment and gives you ideas on how to improve your work/life balance and have a healthier relationship with work.” — Laura C., Honduras
