The Berlin Office Move
Greetings from Berlin!
In January 2018 we opened our European-based hub in Berlin.
When we opened our home was at Betahaus, near Moritzplatz U-Bahn. We really enjoyed the space and it was centrally located in the heart of Kreuzberg. An alternative district famous for music, culture and art.
In May, we decided to move to a different co-working space. The reason for the change was that Betahaus no longer suited our needs, we were looking for a private space within a co-working space because we still love that coworking vibe. The choice was hard, so many coworking spaces to choose from in Berlin, not to mention how amazingly funky, trendy and super equipped some of them are.
We decided to go to vote, with most of us opting for the location that was closest to home, obviously! We managed to narrow it down to two spaces but the winner by far was St Oberholz. Located in Mitte, the most touristic district of Berlin. Most of Berlin’s iconic landmarks are situated in this district which makes it one of the most visited areas of Berlin. St Oberholz is right in the heart of Rosenthaler Platz, directly above the U-Bahn, which makes it super accessible by public transport.
We love our new private office space, we get to play music, talk loudly and just be ourselves without interrupting others. We are still in the process of giving it that personal touch, with that in mind it looks like our next purchase is going to be a sofa, maybe even a schlafsofa (sofa bed) :)
Now we’d like to share the move with you, show you our new home and our Berlin family! At the moment there are seven of us at the hub: Asae, Rossella, Maria Sole, George, Nicolo, Alicja and myself.
