Who are we?

We are Partners In Health Canada Spark, an independent group of passionate individuals building a movement for global health equity and social justice. We believe that all people should have the right to health care and we are dedicated to supporting this goal through public education, fundraising and engagement. As a self-organizing collective of volunteers from across Canada, we constantly strive to support the mission of PIH Canada in its life saving work across the world.

This blog is brought to you by the Education Group. As part of PIHC Spark, we complete literature reviews on relevant aspects of global health, present at conferences, create and disseminate accessible videos to the public, and plan academic events. Our current series of projects is focused on maternal health and birthing practices in Haiti.

Want to find out more or get in touch? We’d love to hear from you!
