it gets muddy, almost
hilarious, as we duel
with cocktail swords
and opposing libidos.
references to deep
southern climates,
good/bad driving conditions,
ghost ships, and
coming up for air slowly
to prevent the bends
are all lost
in your fogged-up need
for approval or
(this could be
my mistake)
one night of
unfocused tolerance.
