Whether it is the weekend or the school holidays, it can be tricky finding fun activities to do. Sometimes the ideas you do actually come up with, like going to the park, can come crashing down because of the rain.

Here is a list aimed at solving all your problems. 10 things that you and your children can do, no matter the weather.

1. Build a blanket fort! (I am getting a little too excited thinking about this one ^_^ )

2. Finger paint. This is a classic. Kids love to get messy and this also allows their artistic flair to come out.

3. Act out some of the scenes from your family’s favourite movies.

4. Play dress up together, you’re never too old! That is also how I got the nickname “Daddy Black beard”

5. Make a homemade pizza. A great way to express your childrens creativity. Make sure there’s plenty of colour! :)

6. Create a treasure hunt for the children. Also, give them tools, like a child’s spade, an umbrella in case it rains etc. Watch the excitmenet as the little buccaneers run off on their adventure.

7. Write a story together. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece, as long as you’re all having fun.

8. Listen to music and play homemade instruments together.

9. Learn something new together. It could be learning a new dance, how to do calligraphy or even how to say hello in another language.

10. Ask each member of the family to teach everyone something.

What will you try from our list? As long as there’s love, passion and a smile involved then you can’t go wrong.

We would love to see and hear about your fun activities. Why not post some images/videos on one of our social media sites :)
