One thing I love about the summer is that it seems to give me an extra boost. Summer is my version of an energy drink, and it has me trying all kinds of new things.

With the Summer in full swing and with the sun shining, it is time to try some new hobbies, and I’d like you to try some too.

When it comes to new hobbies, I like to try something a little bit out of the ordinary, maybe something I’ve never heard of or just something I’ve wanted to try but never got round to it.

We’re only on this beautiful Earth for a short amount of time. So try plenty, have fun and most of all Express yourself.

Here are my top 3 hobbies to try this year:

Wingsuit flying

When I put on my suit for work I feel strength and confidence, but that suit doesn’t have the wind blowing through my hair and most of all that suit doesn’t have me FLYING! Yes flying. This summer put those business clothes away and pull on a suit that will have you soaring through the sky.

Wingsuit flying is an extreme variation of sky diving where before pulling that parachute you can feel like an eagle gliding through the sky. It can be done out of a plane, off the edge of the cliff. Set your heights high and jump from even higher.

Feel alive this summer and pursue wingsuit flying.

Geocaching

Have you ever wanted to go on a treasure hunt? Do you want to find hidden treasures near you? Then you should try Geocaching.

Geocaching is an incredible grown-up treasure hunt. Using GPS, you will search and locate hidden “caches” scattered around the world. When you discover a cache, you sign the log book inside, and sometimes there are even mini treasures for you to keep. Smartphones have made this fun hobby easier than ever to do, anywhere anytime.

So what are you waiting for? Head out and find a treasure today.

Home-Brewing

Summer is a great time to spend in beer gardens with friends but what if you could have your own beer garden with your own homemade beer? Over the past few years, it has become more and more popular to make your own beer. You can use kits to make it at home where you can try it yourself or make it with a little help from your friends. There are also workshops to make beer if you want to get out of the house.

Whatever route you take, have fun experimenting and perfecting your own beer this summer.

In life, it is essential to explore new things and see who we really are inside. Hobbies can tell you a lot about a person and are also a great way to express yourself.

A passion a day keeps the boring monster at bay.

Be Bold. Be Brave. Be Passionate.
