Can an Ancestor be your own past life, Soulmate, or Spirit Guide?

Yes, all of the above is possible. Being your own ancestor in a past life is rare, but I had some clients who were their own grand-gran-parents or grandparents in past lives, or somebody in their own family way back 100–200 years ago. Reincarnating in the same family is more typical in native tribes than in modern society, but it is possible. There is a great book by Carol Bowman ‘Return from Heaven” about children with past life memories in the same family.

It is quite typical for your family members to be your Soulmates — members of the same Soul Group reincarnating with you, but it is usually limited to parents, siblings, cousins, and children, occasionally grandparents — the relatives you met and interact with — in this life.

There is an interesting situation when a remote or close Ancestor is also your main Spirit Guide…I had many clients whose Grandparent turned to be their Spirit Guide — not just as an Ancestor Guide watching over their grandchild, but also as their Personal Guide, who was with them in many past lives in Elder roles, and teaching them between lives. When somebody from the family shows up in a session — it is expected, especially if they died recently — and we talk to them, get messages, they share the love with the client, but after this, I ask ‘Are you my client’s personal Guide or no?” (they know the difference) Most say ‘no” — and I ask them to bring the client’s Personal Guide. (it is easy for them in 5D, plus the Guide is usually waiting right there to show themselves)

I remember a session when my client, a young African-American lady, saw a past life as a man in Haiti, a slave, he and his friends built a raft to escape slavery, but there were an earthquake and landslide, and his friends died, but he used the commotion to escape on the raft and ended up in New Orleans, working on the docks carrying goods, he learned maintenance of the boats and shipbuilding and built his own boat, and started trading goods on the river, made money, built more boats and stated chartering them — and became quite wealthy, and moved his family on the coast and built a nice house…At this point, the client was saying — “WOW, this is the house where I was born!” After the man died and became a spirit, I asked him — is he my client’s own past life or only an Ancestor? He said — I am her Main Spirit Guide! I was with her in many lives! She needs to know who I am, she was born in this family because it was an agreement between our souls, so we are connected in this life and she would be inspired by my life story” (she knew very little of him — only the name as the patriarch of the family who built their house about 150 years ago, and that he was originally from Haiti)
