We’ve inhabited Earth for billions of years, and yet only a fraction of events that took place are mentioned in our history textbooks. The history of humanity as we know it is one that is debatable and, if explored deeply enough, full of unexpected surprises.

There are stories that have not yet reached us the way they were supposed to. They were either lost to time or simply re-told to fit a specific belief or ideology.

If there is anything that I have learned from my history classes, it’s that one must analyze as many sources as possible in order to reach a conclusion — and still, no amount of sources can be enough to reach an objective truth.

There will always be two sides to a story, or a hidden part of a story which we haven’t yet discovered. There are people, nations, events, facts that we still haven’t learned about. Voices we’ve failed to hear. Species we’ve failed to study. Cultures we’ve failed to understand. Civilizations that disappeared in the blink of an eye.

The amount of untold stories that form human history is baffling. And these are just the stories we can find evidence for. Imagine if we could gain access to stories that have no bearing…
