Round ups
So now the final crit. session for the first project has passed and we have taken the opprtunity to reflect on the process. Each one of us have or will also turn in an individual reflection, but a generall sentiment among us was that having a 4-person-group might have been inefficient in certain phases. It was however appreciated in other parts, especially the brainstorming phases where we wouldn’t have minded being an even larger group.
We generally managed to divide the tasks fairly between us in many of the later stages, unfortunately the time restrictions meant that we relied more on previous excperience rather than newly aquired skills. The time constraints meant that some weeks we were swamped and others we finished our assignments in a few hours. A more flexible approach, say an Agile model where students set their own goals and report back, would have been a useful experience.
The video turned out nicely, in large parts thanks to our friend Jannikas excellent voiceover.
As you can see in the video, we finally got around to choosing a real name for the app, Ignite. The idea we wanted to convey was that by helping through the app you could ignite a light in a colorless world. The final brand and logo we presented was well appreciated by the audiece, who seemed to like the idea.
