Embarking on a journey to become a data analyst might seem daunting at first, especially considering the technical nature of the profession. However, the path to acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge isn’t as complex or intimidating as it might initially appear. I want to share my opinions here:

  1. Data analysis is not intimidating
  2. What skills and knowledge do we need
  3. Qualifications or certifications needed
  4. Polish and showcase what you learned and get a job — Profile building
  5. A detailed curriculum

1. Data analysis is not intimidating.

Many people may assume that becoming a data analyst is difficult, as if phrases with ‘data’ are somehow inherently complex. They’re not. Data analysis has been around for a long time. We simply hear about it more now because we live in the information age. For instance, if you track your grades across different subjects and analyze why you performed poorly in some areas, you’re performing data analysis. Based on this analysis, you can identify areas to focus on for improvement.

But, of course, it’s essential to acquire standardized knowledge and skills to secure a job in a regulated market…
