CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) for Non-Diabetics: I Tried Vively/Abbott FreeStyle Libre
I wanted to try CGM for three reasons. First, I have a sweet tooth and want nothing to do with diabetes. However, as the number of patients rises and their average age decreases, I’m becoming more aware of it. Second, having had low blood sugar syndrome in the past, this device could help me determine when I need to eat. Third, I’m genuinely curious about the technology since a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) can track glucose levels in real time. So I registered for a health program to gain access to the device. I received the sensor today and will continue to use it, with plans to create a report on my glucose data. By the way, I just went through a simple diabetes dataset analysis yesterday here.

- Quickly identify the foods & behaviours that spike your glucose
- Weight management
