At PatientBank, we help people centralize their medical information. We believe better information enables people to better communicate their health history to doctors and advocate for the best care.

In the past, we’ve only allowed people to store and share PDF files.

Now, we’re excited to announce the launch of the PatientBank DICOM viewer — allowing people to upload, view, and securely store imaging studies in their PatientBank account.

Sending CDs via snail mail is the primary way imaging records are transmitted among physicians and between physicians and their patients.

The days of mailing CDs can finally come to an end. PatientBank allows you to upload your DICOM images directly from their CDs — once they’re in PatientBank, you can share them with anyone you’d like.

Using PatientBank to store and share your imaging records

With a few clicks, you can upload and view the contents of your imaging CD in your PatientBank account.

When getting a second opinion, PatientBank allows you to share your imaging study with multiple physicians — quickly and from the comfort of your home.

From your PatientBank account, simply enter your doctor’s email or fax, and they’ll receive a secure link to review your imaging study. Learn more about sharing with PatientBank here.

You can also choose to share imaging alongside a radiology report and other medical records stored in PatientBank, providing your doctor with context for diagnosis.

Getting started

Have any imaging CDs lying around? Upload them to your PatientBank account in minutes.

Want to request your imaging records? Create a request from the facility where the study was performed or from the doctor who ordered it. Here’s a walkthrough for making a new request on PatientBank.

And, do it all from your PatientBank account! Head over to app.patientbank.us/signup to create an account, or log into your existing account here: app.patientbank.us/login.
