Which Generational Group Engages with Mobile Ads the Most?

In the era of digital and screens, advertisers are quick to think, “How can we make this ad or campaign mobile friendly?” and “How can KPIs such as click-thru rate be amplified via mobile?”

As social and digital media evolve, millenials have been the most receptive age group for the advancements in marketing initiatives. A recent survey shows that millennials are more likely to intentionally click on mobile ads, at nearly 80%, and 10% frequently click on mobile ads. Compared to 36% of Gen X and 27% of baby boomers.

An interesting trend to be aware of is that most mobile ads that garner clicks and attention are mobile app ads. 52% of respondents are more likely to intentionally click this form of ad type versus a a genreal product or brand ad.
