Learn to speak well in public.

I’m hijacking a quote by President Woodrow Wilson here and adapting it.

Not all speakers lead, but all leaders speak.

Leadership is the number one quality that will get you ahead in your 20’s (and maybe in life, haven’t got that far). Standing up to do things others won’t and can’t and speaking out.

In a survey, Public speaking polled as the 2nd biggest fear people have in the world, 1st biggest fear was death!

Simply by learning to speak in public and becoming moderately proficient at it, you will have a HUGE advantage over all of your competitors. It is necessary to become a competent communicator.

The home of public speaking is of course Toastmasters. There you can practice in a positive environment around veteran public speakers. You will become more powerful than you ever know from doing it and grow massively as a person.

Without being able to speak in public you have no voice.

Meditate on that.

If you can’t speak up for your interests, life is harder. Simple as that.

You will meet the best friends Charlotte Crowther and awesome kind mentors David Salamons.

Go out and become a competent communicator.
