This one is becoming a common practice

Meditation is only for adults

Meditation is for people of all ages. It just so happens that adults may have the greatest propensity to be able to sit still for sustained periods of time. Children can absolutely meditate and it is becoming commonplace for them to practice mindfulness practices and moving meditations and even silent sitting meditations. Playing instruments and artistic pursuits can be a wonderful form of meditation for children, or for even more energetic children, the martial arts.

But it doesn’t stop here, the ways to enter into meditative states is limited only by your imagination.
