Market view on #TTMobile: #ES_F ended up > 12 points while #Treasuries lost a few ticks. #Crude lost > 1% while #natgas gained > 4 1/2%.

After a sharp opening rally the E-mini sold off before picking up early afternoon and rallying into the close for a strong day. The broader, small-cap index, Russell 2000, shown below, didn’t get much of a morning break and rallied all day adding nearly 2% today.

Bonds rallied into midday and took a breather to end down small.

Crude opened strong, broke mid-morning, then was hit hard in the afternoon ending with a loss of > 1%.

Natgas was hit hard in the afternoon after a strong morning rally and ended advancing 4 1/2%.

Gold sold off in the morning while a midday rally saved the worst of the damage. She still lost 1/2%.

Copper swelled early and held on to close 2 1/2% higher.

Euro FX Futures opened with a big gap lower before rallying all day to end 1% higher.

Corn stole the day in grains. A big 3% gain wiped out the loss from last week.
