Focus on process over outcome has been a big theme this year and there have been many articles on Medium and other platforms discussing this approach. Why is that? Why has this mantra of process over outcome risen in prominence this year? It’s not an original idea and has likely been around since the beginning of time. Why stress it this year? Is that telling us something itself? Has “outcome” become too difficult so we’re looking for a soft out? Or is it just a reoccurring reminder to focus on the basics and build from a solid base of fundamentals?
