Evolution at work
Look at this little frog. The intricacy of its skin, complexity of its eyes and the firm grasp of its little fingers. These features have evolved over millennia to make it adapt for living in Japanese bamboo forests. This little guy encountered a concrete wall today which is rather different from bamboo leaves but the sticky grasp works just fine and maybe his hunt for flies will be even more successful in this unnatural environment, and his descendants will become a new species of urban frogs. The pattern of delicate skin met the pattern of concrete walls, a little new kick in the evolution process…
