My research sits at the nexus of media literacies and civic action taking in daily life. My research has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Slate Magazine, the Nieman Foundation, USA Today, CNN, and others. I hold visiting professorships at Bournemouth University in England, and the Catholic University of Argentina, Buenos Aires.
