Another Example Of All That Spring Hill Has To Offer
It has just been a few minutes since the football game ended, but you’re barely able to move (…darn those buffalo wings), and you still have nervous energy from the win (oh yeah!). What should you do, you might ask…I’d suggest that you walk the Spring Hill, Tennessee Battlefield Trail.
When you get here, parking is relatively straightforward, or if you prefer, you can park in the shopping mall that is adjacent to the trail. When you begin your walk, you will be greeted by a number of signs that explain the significance of this landmark. It is well worth your time to read this information.
As you walk along the ridge, you will eventually reach the top of the ridge, and once you are there, you will be greeted by an absolutely stunning panoramic view of Spring Hill. In my humble opinion, during the summer, the view is outstanding.
After you reach the top, you will notice that there is also a canon gun situated there (don’t worry, it’s no longer functioning). After you walk past the canon gun (…as you let your imagination wander on how brutal war is), you can follow the trail around to the left, which will take you further on your journey.
There isn’t much more you can ask for than this trail as your go-to when it comes to getting outside for a quick 20 to 30-minute exercise routine, or better yet, use the trail as a way to clear your thoughts, allowing yourself to have a mentally rejuvenated reboot.
The last thing I would like to mention is that any time I see people on the trails, many of them are accompanied by their dogs, which is very common due to Spring Hill’s dog-friendly environment
