One of the most satisfying parts of my life as a real estate agent is being able to share all the beautiful offerings Spring Hill, TN has to offer. One area that stands out is when families have children in their skateboard/skatepark phase.

So, when I’m asked, “where can our kids skate safely in the area,” I proudly tell them, “Oh, let’s go take a look at the Walnut Street Skate Park,” and at this point, all of our faces brighten up.

To begin, we’ll first address the rules for the skate park:

The Park is open from dawn to dusk.

The Park Allows:
              — Skateboards
              — Inline Skates
              — BMX & Freestyle Bicycles
              — Non-Motorized Scooters

The park Rules & Guidelines:
             — Safety first — Helmets and pads are required for all users.
             — Be respectful of others — no fighting or foul language.
             — Be respectful of the Park — NO graffiti, NO homemade rails, or other props.
             — No gum, food, drink, or glass containers on the skating surface.
             — Clean up after yourself — do not leave trash on or around the skate park.
All other City of Spring Hill Parks and Recreation Rules apply.

The Skate Park is located @ 114 Walnut Street, Spring Hill, TN 37174

As mentioned above, this Park allows many skate-type utilities for everyone to enjoy. I have even skated in this place, and it was as nutty as you’d imagine for us ‘older folk.’

The Skate Park features a variety of ramps, rails, and other obstacles for riders of all ages to enjoy. The Skate Park is well-maintained, with smooth surfaces and plenty of room to ride. Whether you’re just starting or an experienced rider, you’ll find something to challenge you at the Walnut Street Skate Park.

From what I’ve seen, one of the great things about Skate Park is the community of riders that has formed around it. Skateboarding and BMX riding (and more) can be solitary sports, but at the Street Skate Park, riders of all ages and skill levels come together to share their love of the sport.

I have seen parents/guardians chill on the provided bench(s) or wait in their cars. Most of the time, the skate park is not overcrowded and/or rowdy. When you arrive, you get the sense of safety for your young ones to enjoy the provided space Spring Hill has to offer the community.

Lastly, here’s a super local tip of the day: while you’re waiting for the young ones to finish, feel free to take a stroll around the corner to Duplex Road. As you make the right, the enormous house you see is a historical landmark in Spring Hill, TN. That house is known as White Hall.
[2536 Duplex Rd, Spring Hill, TN 37174].

I could go on for days detailing the significance of this landmark, but these two links will undoubtedly do a better job.
