One thing you must know about me is that I love quotes. The quotes that resonate with people are incredibly revealing about them — their perspectives, their lives.
Last summer during a leadership retreat with my team, I facilitated an arts and crafts activity involving our favorite quotes. Using brush and calligraphy pens, colorful washi tape, cardstock, and markers, we decorated large cardstock and made personalized art out of our quotes to share. This was mine:
Your best self is your whole self.
It hangs on my wall as a powerful, simple reminder to show up as my whole self every day.
