Achieve Better Video Conferencing with Google Meet

As you may be aware or unaware, Google stealthily launched a new video conferencing application called Meet by Google Hangouts, which is designed for HD video meetings. Google Meet is very neat and crisp and seamlessly allows you to connect with both internal and external users through Videoconferencing.

Google Meet seamlessly integrates with your Google Calendar and creates a unique meeting URL that is sent to users via calendar or via email. You can access it directly as well through ; meet.google.com

What is better, external users need not to have a Google Account. They can join the meeting by way of meeting code when visiting meet.google.com or a unique link embedded into a calendar invite created.

To make use of the Google Meet in your company, you must turn it on as follows;

Turn Meet on or off

1. In your Google Admin console (at admin.google.com)…
2. Go to Apps > G Suite > Google Hangouts.
3. Click Meet settings

Google Meet works on the web and has a mobile app in both Android Play Store and iOS App Store for on the go so that you never have to miss that important video call.
