Google Classroom Preview

As the Leading Google Apps EDU Partners, we have been privileged to have an early preview of Google Classroom (classroom.google.com ).Classroom is a new tool in Google Apps for Education that helps teachers create and organize assignments quickly, provide feedback efficiently, and easily communicate with their classes. Classroom is the seamless and intuitive e-learning and teaching platform, that is now or will be, part of all Google Apps foe Education domains. It features very simple yet powerful tools that allow educators to create assignments, course materials and assign them to class members. The students can join class either by directly being added by the Teacher, or by way of a unique code that is unique to each class. Beauty of Classroom is that it allows educators and students to share assignments and course materials all through Google Drive! How cool is that? So this is how it works, a Teacher creates a course and includes course materials and assignment, complete with due dates. This are then shared to the class either by way of direct email, class mailing groups or sharing a unique code for that particular class. Each one will then receive an email informing them of the the same. Each student can then access the course materials, do the class assignments and submit them, all through Classroom and Google Drive. The Teachers i notified upon each student submitting the assignment and he then proceeds to view and review the assignments and then grade it and return to the student. The student then receives the assignment with the score for it! Boooom! We gave it a spin here are some shots we took while at it….
