Google Forms Integration allows for Swift Application Procedure at NCHSM

A while back we posted about how we had taken NCHSM from darkness to light. This post is just to show you how successful this has been for then, especially on the online application forms.

AS you can remember, NCHSM did not have a website, the only web presence they had was in form of a Facebook page.

The application procedure was hectic to say the least, and getting contacts of the college was at best, next to impossible.

Five days after we took their website live (www.nchsm.ac.ke) they have received numerous applications through the google forms we integrated on their website. This represents a 30% increase in the number of applications received within a week, not to mention from different parts of the country.

Before us, when someone applied to NCHSM, they had to get the contacts, draft a letter of application, and look for the nearest post office to send their application letter.

If said person was lucky enough and their letter was received, NCHSM would send someone at the end of the week to check their inbox for any new applications. This process could take about two to three weeks before an applicant could receive any feedback from the system.

However, after the integration of Google apps for NCHSM, the moment an applicant fills in the online form on their website and hits submit, an email is sent to the principal at the same instant about the new applicant.

Seconds later, the new applicant receives a call from the college asking them to avail themselves at a later date to finish up the process.

Compare this to the two to three weeks it used to take for new applicants to get a response about their application status.
