Meet and Greet with Li’l Sebastian
The Pawnee Parks and Recreation department will be holding a special event for the citizens of Pawnee. We will be sponsoring a meet and greet with the world famous Li’l Sebastian!
We will be holding our meet and greet in Ramsett Park on May 27th. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and resume from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. We will be taking a break from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. to give Li’l Sebastian a break to cool off and rest.
Li’l Sebastian has been a Pawnee favorite since 1989. For an entire week he was the most photographed object in America, and the seventh object ever photographed in Indiana. He’s been a big deal for a li’l horse.
Pawnee has been in love with Li’l Sebastian since then. He makes various appearances around town at various functions, such as Pawnee High basketball games, children’s birthday parties and the annual JJ’s Diner Birthday Bash.
Li’l Sebastian is an especially big deal in the Parks Dept. Head of the Department Ron Swanson is absolutely in love with him, but he would never admit it. He loves Li’l Sebastian almost as he loves bacon and silence.
We will be sponsoring pictures with Li’l Sebastian, selling handfuls of his favorite hay, and authentic Li’l Sebastian T-shirts. Profits from this event will be put towards future Parks and Rec department projects.
Other Li’l Sebastian facts that are important to know is that he actually isn’t a pony, he’s a mini horse. There’s actually a very big difference!
Li’l Sebastian has an honorary degree in Communications from Notre Dame. He also holds a judgeship in Lafayette.
We must also remind all the citizens of Pawnee and fans of Li’l Sebastian that are planning to attend this event that he is getting up there in years. He is over twenty years old, and has cataracts and diabetes. It is very important to use no flash photography or bring anything that will make loud sudden noises.
Persons not willing to abide by these policies will be removed from the premises by the Pawnee Rangers.
