Massachusetts Paid Sick Leave


Massachusetts now joins the list of states mandating paid sick leave. On 11/4/14, voters approved a measure that will require employers of 11 or more employees to provide paid sick leave (PSL) effective 7/1/15 at a rate of one hour of PSL for every 30 hours worked to be capped at 40 hours of PSL a year.
