How to swap from PAY to PAYT!
We at PayAccept are swapping the PAY token to PAYT ; why we are doing this?
- We want a unique ticker. PAY was already associated with TENX, and therefore we would have experienced issues with future listings, additions to trackers, and integrations.
- PAYT will be listed on CoinGecko and CoinmarketCap.
- The PAYT smart contract has farming/staking onboard. That means that you, as tokenholder can stake PAYT. Our partner Ferrum will also integrate PAYT in their wallet and staking platform.
Requirements
If you already installed MetaMask in your browser, skip this part and scroll below to SWAP INSTRUCTIONS.
You need to install MetaMask first, which is a super handy add-on for the Chrome browser and a crypto wallet at once. It is a very secure non-custodial wallet, so the funds are under your control, which we like the most! Please download MetaMask from https://metamask.io/
After the installation, please load your new account with some Ethereum. We advise you to top-up the wallet with a minimum of $10,- in Ethereum. You can acquire ethereum from Coinbase or the dozens of cryptocurrency exchanges out there.
Now that you got Ethereum in the wallet, it’s simple. You did the most challenging part by installing MetaMask, so this will be simple as it. Now it’s time to transfer the old token in your MetaMask wallet. After you send the PAY (old) token there, it’s time to swap them. To check if you have PAY in your metamask, please add this address as a custom token:

And if you are busy with that, also add the new token address for PAYT:

If that is done and you see the old PAY assets, you are good to go!
SWAP INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Go to our swap website -> https://swap.payaccept.net
If everything goes well, you will see this:
Step 2: Click on ‘Approve Token’.
Step 3: Click on ‘Confirm’.
Step 4: Get some coffee! Wait a bit (maximum 5 minutes). Don’t close the screen or refresh! If all is okey, you get the following screen:
Step 5: Click on ‘Swap Token’.
Step 6: Click on ‘Confirm’.
Step 7: Drink some more coffee! It takes maximum another 5 minutes. Don’t refresh or close the screen. After a while! Congrats! You swap to PAYT tokens!
Issues:
You don’t have PAY Tokens in your metamask wallet:
Issue: I cannot press the Confirm button on Allowing:
Solution: Top up Ethereum in your wallet. $10,- in ETH is okey.
Issue: Got a stucked transaction!
Solution: Click on the ‘Speed Up’ button and put the gasprice higher. If that don’t help just wait till the Ethereum blockchain accepts your transaction. If it’s busy there, it can take a long time.
Why does it cost so much to swap?
The Ethereum blockchain runs on gas fees. If the network is not busy (40 GWEI) the transactions are cheap (around $1–$2). But if the network is busy, the GWEI can go up to 250, where you pay $15,- per transaction.
If the price is too much, just wait and check https://ethgasstation.info. Don’t try to put a lower gasprice, since the blockchain will reject your transaction.
