Paying Down. Looking Up.

We’re thrilled to welcome our newest customer, Penguin Random House to the Gradifi platform today. The company has chosen to implement an SLP Plan™ (Student Loan Paydown) to combat the student loan crisis head on, and we could not be happier.

This is big news because Penguin Random House is the first book publishing company to offer student loan repayment assistance. Less than 5% of United States companies offer student-debt repayment assistance, a burden that impacts 70% of recent college graduates. Penguin Random House is one of the few companies nationwide to offer the student loan repayment assistance benefit to employees at every level of the organization.

Penguin Random House is known for its generous benefits package and has proven to be forward-thinking in terms of overall employee wellness by implementing an SLP Plan™. Beginning in January 2017, any regular full-time employee who has been with the company one year is eligible for the student loan repayment benefit of up to $1,200 annually during their employment, for up to seven and a half years, totaling $9,000.

We’re very excited to have Penguin Random House on board to face student debt head-on. Here is the link to today’s press release if you’d like to know more about our partnership. If you are interested in implementing an SLP Plan™ and joining Penguin Random House and other progressive companies like PwC, First Republic Bank and Natixis Asset Management, visit www.gradifi.com to request more information.
