Culture is a Priority

It’s not by accident, or luck, that Paylocity continues to be recognized for being an amazing place to work. The awards and recognition are a reflection of the investment we make to create and sustain a culture of inclusion, along with an environment where unique perspectives are valued and sought out. To achieve this Paylocity has focused efforts that all play a critical part in making a workplace where there is a sense of understanding and belonging — and speaks to diverse interests.

SHEroes (Female inclusion), OneWorld (Ethnic Diversity), Equality (LGBTQ+ Community) and Virtual Connect (Remote Population)

At a company level, we have created Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with specific missions centered around education and support for our various communities and allies. We invite everyone to participate in any or all of them — SHEroes (Female inclusion), OneWorld (Ethnic Diversity), Equality (LGBTQ+ Community) and Virtual Connect (Remote Population). Not to mention we also have a group (PCTY Gives)that drives community outreach through partnerships with nonprofits.

To take it deeper, within Product & Technology, we invest in events, training and development that show up in different ways for each individual. Last October, we held our first Women in Tech Conference at our headquarters in Schaumburg. All the female employees within Product & Technology were invited to come together for 2 days to participate in round tables, as well as learn tangible skills to help them navigate everyday challenges they face.

The grass is greener at Paylocity because we water it. Every one of us who is lucky enough to work here is responsible for contributing to and shaping our culture — a culture that has been described by team members as open, innovative, inclusive, collaborative, team-centric, client-focused, empowering and above all, rewarding.

I LOVE PCTY

I joined Paylocity 4 ½ years ago and have seen incredible growth in that time. A key component to that growth and our ability to retain amazing talent is the fact that our culture remains a daily priority across all areas and levels of the organization. Investment is made in our people, their growth, and in the core values we all hold near and dear as an organization. Enabling employees to do their best work so that we may in turn to do the same for our clients is the essence of everything we do.

Every week our product teams facilitate collaborative discussions with internal stakeholders and external clients to get real-time feedback which they turn into action. We are here to make our clients successful.

We don’t take for granted the fruits of their labor and are passionate about evolving our culture such that we can continue to thrive as employees, as a community, and as individuals.
