Crypto payments just got a whole lot easier with PaymentX!

With the beta launch of PaymentX, you can process your crypto payroll and other invoices in just a few clicks.

We’ve just launched the beta release of PaymentX, Chronobank’s crypto payroll solution. Using PaymentX, businesses can process their payrolls in crypto — making multiple payments to employees and contractors quickly and securely, with just a couple of clicks. What’s more, you can process one-off invoices easily, or organise repeat payments. In our beta release, workers can invoice you in RUB or USD, and you can settle the bill in crypto frictionlessly.

Crypto payroll = headache

Like many software products, PaymentX arose from a need we experienced in our own company. We’re an international outfit; we have offices in Sydney and Melbourne, but our team is dispersed and we work with contractors all over the world, including Russia, Germany, Thailand and UK.

Naturally, being a blockchain startup, we use cryptocurrency to pay our team. There’s no other solution that matches the speed, security and efficiency of crypto for cross-border payments, especially for smaller amounts (if you don’t believe us, try sending $200 USD from Australia to Europe…). Costs and delays are both unacceptably high with fiat.

But we ran into a problem. While regular fiat payroll software is widely used, there weren’t any solutions for processing multiple crypto payments. The result was that we had to pay our workers manually — which could take most of a day!

Dogfooding

And so we developed PaymentX and started using it in our own company. The results were fantastic. We were able to process our payroll in a few clicks, rather than several hours. PaymentX also makes it easy to settle one-off invoices, converting the amount due into crypto at market prices at the time of transfer. Features include in beta version:

• Working with Bitcoin wallets: create, back up, edit, delete and restore addresses from backup phrase, send and receive BTC.
• Working with invoices — create, edit and send invoices.
• Pay invoices in Bitcoin, including multiple addresses at a time. Payments for wallets added to PaymentX.
• Support for mail notifications of invoices.

Since we’ve been eating our own dogfood for a while now, we’ve thoroughly tested PaymentX and are ready to make it available to beta users.
