Paytm empowers users to send up to Rs. 1 Lakh in a single transaction using the app. One can also send or receive money 24*7 including on bank holidays. According to current norms, the daily money transfer limit is pegged at Rs. 1 Lakh. But while receiving, users can also accept any amount of money flowing into their accounts because there are no limits on receiving funds.

The amounts are directly deducted from/ added to your bank account using UPI technology. Unlike traditional mobile wallets that take a specified amount of money from the user and store that money in their accounts, UPI withdraws and deposits funds directly from the bank account whenever a transaction is requested. Paytm also enables consumers by allowing them to experience the full potential of digital banking by instituting a policy of collecting no charges whatsoever.
