How you can use Paytm’s Scan-to-order service

Paytm has launched the “Scan-to-Order” food ordering service using which Paytm users can place orders at their favourite or nearest restaurants at the tip of their fingers. They can then collect their order from the respective restaurant once it is prepared. The Scan-to-Order service is aimed at ensuring maximum convenience for the users while also increasing efficiency and speed for restaurants.

It also provides users the option of making digital payments at a vast range of restaurants, big or small. Paytm has teamed up with leading F&B outlets and quick-service restaurant chains across the country to popularize a contactless dining experience..There is no minimum value for ordering through the service. Most importantly, it ensures minimum contact between customer and restaurant while ordering food in an effort to improve hygiene and guard against the spread of diseases. Follow these few simple steps to use the service directly from your Paytm app :

Step 1: Scan the Food QR code of the restaurant by walking in-store and using the Paytm app or Mobile phone’s camera to open the restaurant’s menu. If you scan through the Paytm app, the menu will open in the app itself.

Step 2: Add your favourite food to your cart by pressing “Add” next to the item

Step 3: Click on the “Go to cart” option at the bottom

Step 4: Apply promocode, if applicable

Step 5: Click on “Proceed to Payment” option at the bottom

Step 6: Make payment through UPI, Paytm Wallet, debit/credit card or paytm payments bank account and your order will be placed

Step 7: You will be notified once the food is prepared

Step 8: You can collect your order or dine-in at the restaurant
