Merchant Signup/Sourcing

• Reach out to the universe of merchants and sign them up for Paytm marketplace after negotiating the best commissions with sellers.
• Source catalogues of these merchants and ensure availability of a wide variety of products.
• Work closely with the merchandising team to get the catalogues live on the marketplace.
• Be the single point of contact for all existing and new merchants who want to sell on the platform.
• Generate market information, and bring in regional expertise/ local flavor in sourcing.

Requirements

• A business development mindset and strong operational co-ordination.
• Good negotiation skills are a must.
• Capability to keep the sellers engaged on live catalogues.
• Must have an aggressive approach to driving business.
• Attention to detail and comfort of working in a ground-up business environment
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• A keen sense of the market and its trends.

Experience:
1–6 years of experience of field sales, preferably in technology/ marketplace/ ecommerce industry

Delhi, Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Tirupur, Ludhiana, Moradabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Agra, Mysore, Coimbatore and Chennai.
