Welcoming Vineet Arora to our leadership team

We are happy to announce that Vineet Arora has joined Paytm General Insurance Ltd. as Managing Director and CEO. With his wide experience and track record in the insurance and securities sector, he will be leading our efforts to provide industry-best solutions in the general insurance space. Vineet’s appointment is a step further in the direction to accelerate our goal to provide insurance and financial services of every kind to millions in India.

Vineet has led the digital transformation journey of some of the top insurance and securities firms in the country. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aegon Life Insurance Company and was part of the India Leadership team. Prior to this role, he was Senior General Manager and Head Product, Distribution, Marketing and Wealth Management at ICICI Securities Limited where he built a profitable distribution business across various delivery channels.

He also helped to expand the ICICI Direct online portfolio and aggressively increased the direct reach to customers. Vineet has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering and a post-graduate diploma in Business Management, with a specialization in finance and marketing, from the Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar.
