As one of the most requested features, Paytm Money has launched the ‘Switch to Direct’ component on its platform that offers the smart solution to switch your investments from regular to direct mode. The process eliminates the scope of commissions which allows users the benefit of 1% higher returns.

With convenience being a prominent element in all of Paytm Money offerings, this feature too retains its simplicity and ease of navigation to make it a smooth experience for all users.

How does SWITCH work?

SWITCH is an innovative feature to maximize your return on investments in a smart way.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to ‘SWITCH’ from regular plans to direct plans:

1. Login to the Paytm Money app.

Download the app if you haven’t already and complete your KYC in minutes.

2. Go to the ‘Portfolio’ section of the app.& Click on ‘Switch to Direct MF’

3. On the ‘External Investments’ screen, import your portfolio by uploading your detailed Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) generated from Karvy.

4. Once your portfolio is imported, you can switch from regular to a direct plan.

Upon switching, your mutual fund investments will shift from regular to the direct mode.

However, it will not change the other features of the underlying scheme like the investment objective, portfolio composition, and the fund manager.
