Half the year has already passed, so today we are delighted to share our short but interesting 2018 half-yearly report. Before you start your reading, it should be said that over the past six months our project continued to make impressive progress towards developing the first truly decentralized crypto payment solution. We strongly believe that Paytomat has gradually become the most convenient way to pay via crypto.
We tried to highlight the most important milestones we have achieved since the beginning of the year and created some smoothly designed infographics for them. Firstly, let’s take a look at the big picture.
Figures speak for themselves. However, you might be interested why the number of new merchants continues to grow, although, on the upper left chart, there is a slight decline in the number of transactions over the last two months. This is due to the specific behavior of the crypto-market. Numbers correlate with the price decline of the top cryptocurrencies, which you could have observed at the end of the spring. In addition, there is a significant increase in March and April, which we did not expect. It happened due to various showcases of our product during conferences and demo zones.
Among the 12 cryptocurrencies accepted by Paytomat (at the time of publication of this report), the most popular ones are well-established projects on the market that occupy the top ranks on the CoinMarketCap. Nothing really extraordinary revealed there.
With the growing base of users, our team grows (the second line in the report) and new partnerships are concluded as well. The influx is brought not only from the crypto-world but, for example, from the POS software developers community too. By the way, in the lower right corner, you can see how the percentages of different POS systems use is divided. Although we just started our cooperation with Poster, it has already racked up the first place among all systems. As for the second place, the high popularity of 1C can be explained due to our home-region where this software is of great popularity. That’s where we take a look at the map of usage and penetration of Paytomat into the world.
As you can see, we’ve done a good job over the last 6 months, slowly seizing the central European region of the world. Our future expansion plans are mostly focused on South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Germany, UK and getting access to the US market. These are the countries where we see enormous potential for our product in the near future. By the way, that’s why (if you follow our news) our team is road showing in Asia now.
Looking ahead, we are gradually moving to launch our fully fledged product. Among the major releases are the aim to launch the Merchant app in the third quarter of 2018 and the start of our Testnet Blockchain in the fourth quarter. Of course, we will talk about these releases in more detail right after their public presentations.
Keep a lookout for news and thank you for your ongoing support.
