The last quarter of this year has almost reached its second half, and somehow, after completing a bunch of tasks and setting new global goals, we completely forgot to tell you about the achievements and milestones Paytomat riched since mid-summer. You’ve already read about some of them on our official channels, but some will be mentioned for the first time. Let’s begin!
Global picture
While our main office was working on product solutions, the other part of the team focused on networking and establishing partnerships all around the world. Firstly, our stands and representatives were present at the most significant events from the worlds of crypto and fintech. For example, at Techcrunch, EOS World Tour, Consensus and many others. Guys brought a lot of insight back from the events, that’s why we’ll be sharing them with you shortly, as well as tell what crypto-players were actually talking about behind the scenes of the decentralized world.
Moreover, the summer period has brought us a couple of important and promising partnerships that can positively affect the development of the entire project. One of them is a collaboration with The American Nightlife Association (ANA). It protects and advocates for the positive economic, social and cultural contributions of the nightlife & hospitality industry and unites around 30,000 merchants in the United States. Having said that, it seems that we have pretty dang good odds to enter a brand-spanking' new market that is chock full of opportunities. Another new partner is Bitfury’s Lightning Peach. Their team is working on implementing Lightning Network technology; thus, in the future, you can rely on low-cost & instant payments in Bitcoin.
In addition, it is worth mentioning the work carried out on an updated Paytomat structure. As you know, for several reasons, we moved our token sale towards the end of the year. Mostly because of the planned improvements to the Paytomat architecture and the updates to some workflow processes. You’ll be able to read about them in more detail in the new version of the White paper, the work on which is happening behind closed doors as you are reading this sentence.

Tech Works
Crypto Gateway plug-in
Earlier in August, we launched the first ever plug-in for crypto payments named Paytomat Crypto Gateway. It works in conjunction with two products — the popular WooCommerce plug-in and Paytomat’s Merchant Web Panel. The first one is most likely familiar to medium-sized and small businesses. It is the most popular eCommerce platform on the web that powers over 28% of all online stores. Used on WordPress, this plug-in allows stores to sell anything using a variety of payment methods. The second product in the bundle is Paytomat. Our software is responsible for carrying out all operations associated with crypto-wallets, transactions, and crypto-payment settings.
The product works in regular mode and has already managed to attract users. Interestingly, the first one was a shop selling ant farms.
Paytomat Wallet
Unlike the plug-in, there have been a number of significant improvements of the wallet and the 1.4 version is already available for download from online stores (Apple Store or Google play). What’s exactly changed? First, we became one of the first solutions in the world capable of fully supporting all features of the EOS blockchain. Thanks to the upgrades, you can see your balance and send tokens from the wallet, as well as register a new EOS account directly from the Paytomat Wallet. Moreover, there is now an option to manage all EOS resources — for example, reserve CPU or buy RAM.
In addition to the features described above, you can now export private keys, pay invoices issued by Paytomat merchants from the app, add custom tokens and much more.
Merchant App
Although we have yet to make an announcement about the updated application for merchants, this product is already available for download on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free mobile point-of-sale app that allows accepting various cryptocurrencies with numerous key features such as 0% fees, creating invoices with generated QR codes as well as sending unique links to customers.
The app also had multi-asset support, a comfortable and detailed payment tracker, and different languages available.
